At the height of our golf season, Islandwood employs over 90 staff members to provide the highest level of service to our membership. The Club is fortunate to have an award winning Executive Chef and we have long prided ourselves in offering world-class food and beverage services. We hope that every employee who enters or exits our staff entrance will carry that pride with them wherever they go.
Our golf operation is headed by PGA professionals and assistants who have been repeatedly recognized for their teaching, playing, and merchandising skills. There are currently seven (7) PGA golf professionals in our section that began their careers at Islandwood.
The loyalty and dedication of the Islandwood Country Club employees has been the prevailing factor in the continued success of the club. They are our most valuable asset. Expectations are for the maintaining of our reputation of quality, integrity, and individualized service.
To that end, we offer competitive compensation plans, and under certain circumstances we offer on-site staff housing.
We are a gratuity-included country club. Therefore, employees (other than those who have been admitted into the caddie program) are NOT permitted to accept gratuities from Islandwood's members, guests or vendors.
